Question 1

What do front end 2020 VOLVO S90 models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 17 recorded sales of the 2020 VOLVO S90 with front end damage, the median was $8,550, from $3,750 to $13,700. That is 10% above the $7,750 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $12,200 a good price for this 2020 VOLVO S90?

Accepted Answer

47 comparable 2020 VOLVO S90 listings sold at auction for a median of $7,750, spanning $3,750 to $12,200. At $12,200 this one went 57% above that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

How much below its undamaged value did this VOLVO S90 sell for?

Accepted Answer

The insurer put this 2020 VOLVO S90's pre-damage retail value at $24,180. It sold for $12,200 — 50% below that. A gap this size is normal for auction vehicles: the buyer takes on the repair cost, the paperwork and the risk that damage is worse than the photos show.

Question 4

How far is this VOLVO S90 from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at COPART in PA - CHALFONT. The nearest major vehicle export port is Newark, roughly 150 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $200-$300, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

Question 5

What does "RUN AND DRIVES" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

RUN AND DRIVES is the auction's own condition note for this 2020 VOLVO S90. It means the vehicle started and moved under its own power during a brief check at the yard. It is not a mechanical inspection and says nothing about how far it would drive. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

Question 6

Is 65,009 miles high for a 2020 VOLVO S90?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2020 VOLVO S90 listings at auction averaged 71,742 miles across 47 sales, so at 65,009 miles this one sits 9% below that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.
