Question 1

What do front end 2018 VOLVO S90 models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 155 recorded sales of the 2018 VOLVO S90 with front end damage, the median was $5,288, from $3,200 to $8,200. That is 5% below the $5,550 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $4,100 a good price for this 2018 VOLVO S90?

Accepted Answer

359 comparable 2018 VOLVO S90 listings sold at auction for a median of $5,550, spanning $3,250 to $8,500. At $4,100 this one went 26% below that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

How much below its undamaged value did this VOLVO S90 sell for?

Accepted Answer

The insurer put this 2018 VOLVO S90's pre-damage retail value at $16,078. It sold for $4,100 — 74% below that. A gap this size is normal for auction vehicles: the buyer takes on the repair cost, the paperwork and the risk that damage is worse than the photos show.

Question 4

What does a salvage title mean for this VOLVO S90?

Accepted Answer

This 2018 VOLVO S90 was sold on a salvage title. A salvage title means an insurer declared the vehicle a total loss. Repairing it and passing a state inspection can convert it to a rebuilt title, which stays on the record permanently and affects resale value.

Question 5

This VOLVO S90 has front end and minor dent/scratches damage — how does that affect it?

Accepted Answer

Damage recorded in two areas usually points to a heavier impact than either label suggests on its own, and it raises the odds of structural damage behind the panels. The auction records the primary and secondary areas only; it does not assess the frame. Photographs and, where available, a physical inspection are the only way to judge how far it goes.

Question 6

Is 109,126 miles high for a 2018 VOLVO S90?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2018 VOLVO S90 listings at auction averaged 94,820 miles across 359 sales, so at 109,126 miles this one sits 15% above that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.
