Question 1

What do front end 2020 VOLVO S60 models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 137 recorded sales of the 2020 VOLVO S60 with front end damage, the median was $5,850, from $3,450 to $9,600. That is 2% below the $6,000 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $3,450 a good price for this 2020 VOLVO S60?

Accepted Answer

280 comparable 2020 VOLVO S60 listings sold at auction for a median of $6,000, spanning $3,600 to $9,725. At $3,450 this one went 42% below that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

How much below its undamaged value did this VOLVO S60 sell for?

Accepted Answer

The insurer put this 2020 VOLVO S60's pre-damage retail value at $40,263. It sold for $3,450 — 91% below that. A gap this size is normal for auction vehicles: the buyer takes on the repair cost, the paperwork and the risk that damage is worse than the photos show.

Question 4

This VOLVO S60 has front end and undercarriage damage — how does that affect it?

Accepted Answer

Damage recorded in two areas usually points to a heavier impact than either label suggests on its own, and it raises the odds of structural damage behind the panels. The auction records the primary and secondary areas only; it does not assess the frame. Photographs and, where available, a physical inspection are the only way to judge how far it goes.

Question 5

What does a salvage title mean for this VOLVO S60?

Accepted Answer

This 2020 VOLVO S60 was sold on a salvage title. A salvage title means an insurer declared the vehicle a total loss. Repairing it and passing a state inspection can convert it to a rebuilt title, which stays on the record permanently and affects resale value.

Question 6

Is 24,748 miles high for a 2020 VOLVO S60?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2020 VOLVO S60 listings at auction averaged 62,296 miles across 280 sales, so at 24,748 miles this one sits 60% below that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.
