Question 1

Was $7,200 a good price for this 2020 VOLVO S60?

Accepted Answer

280 comparable 2020 VOLVO S60 listings sold at auction for a median of $6,000, spanning $3,600 to $9,725. At $7,200 this one went 20% above that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 2

This VOLVO S60 sold without keys — does that matter?

Accepted Answer

Yes, usually. A missing key means the vehicle often cannot be started or moved under its own power at the yard, so its condition is harder to verify and buyers bid more cautiously. Replacing a modern key and reprogramming it to the immobiliser typically runs into the hundreds. It is one of the more common reasons an otherwise sound car sells below its comparables.

Question 3

How much below its undamaged value did this VOLVO S60 sell for?

Accepted Answer

The insurer put this 2020 VOLVO S60's pre-damage retail value at $17,418. It sold for $7,200 — 59% below that. A gap this size is normal for auction vehicles: the buyer takes on the repair cost, the paperwork and the risk that damage is worse than the photos show.

Question 4

What does a salvage title mean for this VOLVO S60?

Accepted Answer

This 2020 VOLVO S60 was sold on a salvage title. A salvage title means an insurer declared the vehicle a total loss. Repairing it and passing a state inspection can convert it to a rebuilt title, which stays on the record permanently and affects resale value.

Question 5

What does "ENHANCED" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

ENHANCED is the auction's own condition note for this 2020 VOLVO S60. It marks a lot the auction has given extra listing prominence, not a statement about condition. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

Question 6

Is 70,248 miles high for a 2020 VOLVO S60?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2020 VOLVO S60 listings at auction averaged 62,296 miles across 280 sales, so at 70,248 miles this one sits 13% above that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.
