Question 1

What do front end 2019 VOLVO S60 models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 139 recorded sales of the 2019 VOLVO S60 with front end damage, the median was $6,000, from $3,600 to $9,700. That is 1% below the $6,088 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $8,600 a good price for this 2019 VOLVO S60?

Accepted Answer

313 comparable 2019 VOLVO S60 listings sold at auction for a median of $6,088, spanning $3,600 to $9,700. At $8,600 this one went 41% above that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

This VOLVO S60 sold without keys — does that matter?

Accepted Answer

Yes, usually. A missing key means the vehicle often cannot be started or moved under its own power at the yard, so its condition is harder to verify and buyers bid more cautiously. Replacing a modern key and reprogramming it to the immobiliser typically runs into the hundreds. It is one of the more common reasons an otherwise sound car sells below its comparables.

Question 4

How much below its undamaged value did this VOLVO S60 sell for?

Accepted Answer

The insurer put this 2019 VOLVO S60's pre-damage retail value at $19,881. It sold for $8,600 — 57% below that. A gap this size is normal for auction vehicles: the buyer takes on the repair cost, the paperwork and the risk that damage is worse than the photos show.

Question 5

How far is this VOLVO S60 from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at COPART in CA - SUN VALLEY. The nearest major vehicle export port is Long Beach, roughly 200 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $250-$350, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

Question 6

Is 65,761 miles high for a 2019 VOLVO S60?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2019 VOLVO S60 listings at auction averaged 74,573 miles across 313 sales, so at 65,761 miles this one sits 12% below that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.
