Question 1

What does a clear mean for this VOLVO S60?

Accepted Answer

This 2017 VOLVO S60 was sold on a clear. A clean title means no total-loss brand was recorded at the point of sale, which is unusual at salvage auctions and typically lifts the price.

Question 2

How far is this VOLVO S60 from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at IAAI in CA - SAN DIEGO. The nearest major vehicle export port is Long Beach, roughly 200 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $250-$350, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

Question 3

What does "RUN AND DRIVES" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

RUN AND DRIVES is the auction's own condition note for this 2017 VOLVO S60. It means the vehicle started and moved under its own power during a brief check at the yard. It is not a mechanical inspection and says nothing about how far it would drive. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

Question 4

Is 111,721 miles high for a 2017 VOLVO S60?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2017 VOLVO S60 listings at auction averaged 74,758 miles across 79 sales, so at 111,721 miles this one sits 49% above that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 5

Did this 2017 VOLVO S60 come with keys?

Accepted Answer

Yes — this lot was listed with keys present, which usually means the vehicle could at least be started or moved at the yard. Combined with left & right side damage, that tells you more about its condition than the damage label alone.

Question 6

What can I find out from VIN YV126MFL8H2422480?

Accepted Answer

YV126MFL8H2422480 identifies this specific 2017 VOLVO S60 in grey with a 2.0l i-4 di, dohc, vvt, turbo, 240hp engine, front wheel drive. This page covers its auction history only. For ownership, servicing and reported accidents, run the VIN through Carfax, AutoCheck or NMVTIS — those records are separate from ours and we cannot change them.
