Question 1

Was $4,900 a good price for this 2022 VOLVO S60?

Accepted Answer

160 comparable 2022 VOLVO S60 listings sold at auction for a median of $7,000, spanning $4,150 to $12,175. At $4,900 this one went 30% below that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 2

This VOLVO S60 sold without keys — does that matter?

Accepted Answer

Yes, usually. A missing key means the vehicle often cannot be started or moved under its own power at the yard, so its condition is harder to verify and buyers bid more cautiously. Replacing a modern key and reprogramming it to the immobiliser typically runs into the hundreds. It is one of the more common reasons an otherwise sound car sells below its comparables.

Question 3

What does a clean title mean for this VOLVO S60?

Accepted Answer

This 2022 VOLVO S60 was sold on a clean title. A clean title means no total-loss brand was recorded at the point of sale, which is unusual at salvage auctions and typically lifts the price.

Question 4

What does "ENHANCED" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

ENHANCED is the auction's own condition note for this 2022 VOLVO S60. It marks a lot the auction has given extra listing prominence, not a statement about condition. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

Question 5

How far is this VOLVO S60 from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at COPART in NC - CHINA GROVE. The nearest major vehicle export port is Charleston, roughly 280 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $250-$325, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

Question 6

Is 82,984 miles high for a 2022 VOLVO S60?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2022 VOLVO S60 listings at auction averaged 51,561 miles across 160 sales, so at 82,984 miles this one sits 61% above that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.
