Question 1

What do mechanical 2018 VOLKSWAGEN TIGUAN models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 22 recorded sales of the 2018 VOLKSWAGEN TIGUAN with mechanical damage, the median was $3,950, from $3,150 to $5,500. That is 9% below the $4,350 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $3,450 a good price for this 2018 VOLKSWAGEN TIGUAN?

Accepted Answer

2002 comparable 2018 VOLKSWAGEN TIGUAN listings sold at auction for a median of $4,350, spanning $3,300 to $6,400. At $3,450 this one went 21% below that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

How much below its undamaged value did this VOLKSWAGEN TIGUAN sell for?

Accepted Answer

The insurer put this 2018 VOLKSWAGEN TIGUAN's pre-damage retail value at $11,300. It sold for $3,450 — 69% below that. A gap this size is normal for auction vehicles: the buyer takes on the repair cost, the paperwork and the risk that damage is worse than the photos show.

Question 4

What does "ENHANCED" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

ENHANCED is the auction's own condition note for this 2018 VOLKSWAGEN TIGUAN. It marks a lot the auction has given extra listing prominence, not a statement about condition. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

Question 5

How far is this VOLKSWAGEN TIGUAN from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at COPART in OH - BARBERTON. The nearest major vehicle export port is Baltimore, roughly 430 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $375-$525, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

Question 6

Is 116,146 miles high for a 2018 VOLKSWAGEN TIGUAN?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2018 VOLKSWAGEN TIGUAN listings at auction averaged 98,086 miles across 2002 sales, so at 116,146 miles this one sits 18% above that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.
