Question 1

What do minor dent/scratches 2016 VOLKSWAGEN TIGUAN models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 17 recorded sales of the 2016 VOLKSWAGEN TIGUAN with minor dent/scratches damage, the median was $3,400, from $3,000 to $4,800. That is 1% below the $3,450 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

What does a clean title mean for this VOLKSWAGEN TIGUAN?

Accepted Answer

This 2016 VOLKSWAGEN TIGUAN was sold on a clean title. A clean title means no total-loss brand was recorded at the point of sale, which is unusual at salvage auctions and typically lifts the price.

Question 3

How far is this VOLKSWAGEN TIGUAN from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at COPART in CT - EAST GRANBY. The nearest major vehicle export port is Newark, roughly 120 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $200-$300, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

Question 4

Is 106,787 miles high for a 2016 VOLKSWAGEN TIGUAN?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2016 VOLKSWAGEN TIGUAN listings at auction averaged 82,430 miles across 188 sales, so at 106,787 miles this one sits 30% above that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 5

What does "ENHANCED" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

ENHANCED is the auction's own condition note for this 2016 VOLKSWAGEN TIGUAN. It marks a lot the auction has given extra listing prominence, not a statement about condition. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

Question 6

Did this 2016 VOLKSWAGEN TIGUAN come with keys?

Accepted Answer

Yes — this lot was listed with keys present, which usually means the vehicle could at least be started or moved at the yard. Combined with minor dent/scratches damage, that tells you more about its condition than the damage label alone.
