Question 1

What do front end 2016 VOLKSWAGEN TIGUAN models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 62 recorded sales of the 2016 VOLKSWAGEN TIGUAN with front end damage, the median was $3,400, from $3,050 to $3,900. That is 1% below the $3,450 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

What does a salvage title mean for this VOLKSWAGEN TIGUAN?

Accepted Answer

This 2016 VOLKSWAGEN TIGUAN was sold on a salvage title. A salvage title means an insurer declared the vehicle a total loss. Repairing it and passing a state inspection can convert it to a rebuilt title, which stays on the record permanently and affects resale value.

Question 3

How far is this VOLKSWAGEN TIGUAN from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at COPART in CA - VAN NUYS. The nearest major vehicle export port is Long Beach, roughly 200 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $250-$350, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

Question 4

Is 127,836 miles high for a 2016 VOLKSWAGEN TIGUAN?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2016 VOLKSWAGEN TIGUAN listings at auction averaged 82,430 miles across 188 sales, so at 127,836 miles this one sits 55% above that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 5

Did this 2016 VOLKSWAGEN TIGUAN come with keys?

Accepted Answer

Yes — this lot was listed with keys present, which usually means the vehicle could at least be started or moved at the yard. Combined with front end damage, that tells you more about its condition than the damage label alone.

Question 6

What can I find out from VIN WVGAV7AX8GW526552?

Accepted Answer
