Question 1

What does a salvage title mean for this VOLKSWAGEN TIGUAN?

Accepted Answer

This 2016 VOLKSWAGEN TIGUAN was sold on a salvage title. A salvage title means an insurer declared the vehicle a total loss. Repairing it and passing a state inspection can convert it to a rebuilt title, which stays on the record permanently and affects resale value.

Question 2

How far is this VOLKSWAGEN TIGUAN from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at COPART in MA - NORTH BILLERICA. The nearest major vehicle export port is Newark, roughly 220 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $275-$400, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

Question 3

What does "ENHANCED" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

ENHANCED is the auction's own condition note for this 2016 VOLKSWAGEN TIGUAN. It marks a lot the auction has given extra listing prominence, not a statement about condition. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

Question 4

Is 90,597 miles high for a 2016 VOLKSWAGEN TIGUAN?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2016 VOLKSWAGEN TIGUAN listings at auction averaged 82,397 miles across 189 sales, so at 90,597 miles this one sits 10% above that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 5

Did this 2016 VOLKSWAGEN TIGUAN come with keys?

Accepted Answer

Yes — this lot was listed with keys present, which usually means the vehicle could at least be started or moved at the yard. Combined with mechanical damage, that tells you more about its condition than the damage label alone.

Question 6

What can I find out from VIN WVGAV7AX5GW588460?

Accepted Answer

For ownership, servicing and reported accidents, run the VIN through Carfax, AutoCheck or NMVTIS — those records are separate from ours and we cannot change them.
