Question 1

What does a qc-irrecuperable-quebec mean for this VOLKSWAGEN TIGUAN?

Accepted Answer

This 2018 VOLKSWAGEN TIGUAN was sold on a qc-irrecuperable-quebec. The title type is the auction's own classification and determines what can legally be done with the vehicle afterwards.

Question 2

What does "RUN AND DRIVES" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

RUN AND DRIVES is the auction's own condition note for this 2018 VOLKSWAGEN TIGUAN. It means the vehicle started and moved under its own power during a brief check at the yard. It is not a mechanical inspection and says nothing about how far it would drive. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

Question 3

Is 69,369 miles high for a 2018 VOLKSWAGEN TIGUAN?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2018 VOLKSWAGEN TIGUAN listings at auction averaged 98,113 miles across 2056 sales, so at 69,369 miles this one sits 29% below that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 4

Did this 2018 VOLKSWAGEN TIGUAN come with keys?

Accepted Answer

Yes — this lot was listed with keys present, which usually means the vehicle could at least be started or moved at the yard. Combined with water damage, that tells you more about its condition than the damage label alone.

Question 5

Where was this VOLKSWAGEN TIGUAN located?

Accepted Answer

The lot was held at IAAI in QUEBEC - LAVAL. Location sets the inland transport cost to a port or a repair shop, and state title rules differ, so two otherwise identical cars can be worth noticeably different amounts.

Question 6

What can I find out from VIN 3VV2B7AX8JM117557?

Accepted Answer

3VV2B7AX8JM117557 identifies this specific 2018 VOLKSWAGEN TIGUAN in red with a 2.0l i-4 di, dohc, vvt, turbo, 184hp engine, all wheel drive. This page covers its auction history only. For ownership, servicing and reported accidents, run the VIN through Carfax, AutoCheck or NMVTIS — those records are separate from ours and we cannot change them.
