Question 1

What do left rear 2019 VOLKSWAGEN TIGUAN models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 22 recorded sales of the 2019 VOLKSWAGEN TIGUAN with left rear damage, the median was $4,825, from $3,550 to $6,450. That is 2% above the $4,750 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $3,550 a good price for this 2019 VOLKSWAGEN TIGUAN?

Accepted Answer

1905 comparable 2019 VOLKSWAGEN TIGUAN listings sold at auction for a median of $4,750, spanning $3,400 to $7,100. At $3,550 this one went 25% below that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

What does a salvage mean for this VOLKSWAGEN TIGUAN?

Accepted Answer

This 2019 VOLKSWAGEN TIGUAN was sold on a salvage. A salvage title means an insurer declared the vehicle a total loss. Repairing it and passing a state inspection can convert it to a rebuilt title, which stays on the record permanently and affects resale value.

Question 4

How far is this VOLKSWAGEN TIGUAN from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at IAAI in CT - EAST WINDSOR. The nearest major vehicle export port is Newark, roughly 120 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $200-$300, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

Question 5

What does "RUN AND DRIVES" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

RUN AND DRIVES is the auction's own condition note for this 2019 VOLKSWAGEN TIGUAN. It means the vehicle started and moved under its own power during a brief check at the yard. It is not a mechanical inspection and says nothing about how far it would drive. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

Question 6

Is 100,889 miles high for a 2019 VOLKSWAGEN TIGUAN?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2019 VOLKSWAGEN TIGUAN listings at auction averaged 85,956 miles across 1905 sales, so at 100,889 miles this one sits 17% above that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.
