Question 1

What do left front 2019 VOLKSWAGEN TIGUAN models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 59 recorded sales of the 2019 VOLKSWAGEN TIGUAN with left front damage, the median was $5,025, from $3,200 to $6,300. That is 6% above the $4,750 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $5,475 a good price for this 2019 VOLKSWAGEN TIGUAN?

Accepted Answer

1947 comparable 2019 VOLKSWAGEN TIGUAN listings sold at auction for a median of $4,750, spanning $3,400 to $7,100. At $5,475 this one went 15% above that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

How far is this VOLKSWAGEN TIGUAN from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at IAAI in WA - PUYALLUP. The nearest major vehicle export port is Tacoma, roughly 60 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $200-$300, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

Question 4

What does "RUN AND DRIVES" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

RUN AND DRIVES is the auction's own condition note for this 2019 VOLKSWAGEN TIGUAN. It means the vehicle started and moved under its own power during a brief check at the yard. It is not a mechanical inspection and says nothing about how far it would drive. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

Question 5

This VOLKSWAGEN TIGUAN has left front and suspension damage — how does that affect it?

Accepted Answer

Damage recorded in two areas usually points to a heavier impact than either label suggests on its own, and it raises the odds of structural damage behind the panels. The auction records the primary and secondary areas only; it does not assess the frame. Photographs and, where available, a physical inspection are the only way to judge how far it goes.

Question 6

Is 40,093 miles high for a 2019 VOLKSWAGEN TIGUAN?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2019 VOLKSWAGEN TIGUAN listings at auction averaged 86,093 miles across 1947 sales, so at 40,093 miles this one sits 53% below that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.
