Question 1

What does a on-salvage-ontario mean for this VOLKSWAGEN TAOS?

Accepted Answer

This 2022 VOLKSWAGEN TAOS was sold on a on-salvage-ontario. A salvage title means an insurer declared the vehicle a total loss. Repairing it and passing a state inspection can convert it to a rebuilt title, which stays on the record permanently and affects resale value.

Question 2

What does "NOT RUN" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

NOT RUN is the auction's own condition note for this 2022 VOLKSWAGEN TAOS. It means the vehicle started and moved under its own power during a brief check at the yard. It is not a mechanical inspection and says nothing about how far it would drive. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

Question 3

Is 40,225 miles high for a 2022 VOLKSWAGEN TAOS?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2022 VOLKSWAGEN TAOS listings at auction averaged 54,502 miles across 1293 sales, so at 40,225 miles this one sits 26% below that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 4

Where was this VOLKSWAGEN TAOS located?

Accepted Answer

The lot was held at IAAI in ONTARIO - OSHAWA. Location sets the inland transport cost to a port or a repair shop, and state title rules differ, so two otherwise identical cars can be worth noticeably different amounts.

Question 5

Did this 2022 VOLKSWAGEN TAOS come with keys?

Accepted Answer

Yes — this lot was listed with keys present, which usually means the vehicle could at least be started or moved at the yard. Combined with front damage, that tells you more about its condition than the damage label alone.

Question 6

What can I find out from VIN 3VVLX7B26NM059205?

Accepted Answer

3VVLX7B26NM059205 identifies this specific 2022 VOLKSWAGEN TAOS in grey with a 1.5l i-4 di, dohc, vvt, turbo, 158hp engine, all wheel drive. This page covers its auction history only. For ownership, servicing and reported accidents, run the VIN through Carfax, AutoCheck or NMVTIS — those records are separate from ours and we cannot change them.
