What does a on-salvage-ontario mean for this VOLKSWAGEN TAOS?

This 2022 VOLKSWAGEN TAOS was sold on a on-salvage-ontario. A salvage title means an insurer declared the vehicle a total loss. Repairing it and passing a state inspection can convert it to a rebuilt title, which stays on the record permanently and affects resale value.

What does "ENGINE STARTS" mean on this listing?

ENGINE STARTS is the auction's own condition note for this 2022 VOLKSWAGEN TAOS. It is a short status flag applied by the auction, not the result of a mechanical inspection. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

Is 51,793 miles high for a 2022 VOLKSWAGEN TAOS?

Comparable 2022 VOLKSWAGEN TAOS listings at auction averaged 54,839 miles across 1342 sales, so at 51,793 miles this one sits 6% below that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Did this 2022 VOLKSWAGEN TAOS come with keys?

Yes — this lot was listed with keys present, which usually means the vehicle could at least be started or moved at the yard. Combined with front damage, that tells you more about its condition than the damage label alone.

Where was this VOLKSWAGEN TAOS located?

The lot was held at IAAI in ONTARIO - VARS. Location sets the inland transport cost to a port or a repair shop, and state title rules differ, so two otherwise identical cars can be worth noticeably different amounts.

Can I buy this 2022 VOLKSWAGEN TAOS from AutoBidCar?
