Question 1

Was $5,800 a good price for this 2026 VOLKSWAGEN TAOS?

Accepted Answer

58 comparable 2026 VOLKSWAGEN TAOS listings sold at auction for a median of $8,600, spanning $3,900 to $14,300. At $5,800 this one went 33% below that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 2

What does a clear mean for this VOLKSWAGEN TAOS?

Accepted Answer

This 2026 VOLKSWAGEN TAOS was sold on a clear. A clean title means no total-loss brand was recorded at the point of sale, which is unusual at salvage auctions and typically lifts the price.

Question 3

How far is this VOLKSWAGEN TAOS from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at IAAI in CO - CICERO. The nearest major vehicle export port is Houston, roughly 1,030 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $675-$975, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

Question 4

What does "NOT RUN" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

NOT RUN is the auction's own condition note for this 2026 VOLKSWAGEN TAOS. It means the vehicle started and moved under its own power during a brief check at the yard. It is not a mechanical inspection and says nothing about how far it would drive. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

Question 5

Is 12,329 miles high for a 2026 VOLKSWAGEN TAOS?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2026 VOLKSWAGEN TAOS listings at auction averaged 6,307 miles across 58 sales, so at 12,329 miles this one sits 95% above that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 6

Who sold this 2026 VOLKSWAGEN TAOS?

Accepted Answer

The listing seller was ENTERPRISE VEHICLE EXCHANGE 29 ROCHESTER. Seller type is a useful signal: insurers typically consign total-loss vehicles, rental and fleet operators consign on a cycle regardless of damage, and dealers consign trade-ins they do not want to retail. Each implies a different history behind the same damage label.
