What do front end 2024 VOLKSWAGEN TAOS models sell for?

Across 638 recorded sales of the 2024 VOLKSWAGEN TAOS with front end damage, the median was $6,300, from $3,800 to $9,300. That is 5% below the $6,650 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Was $7,200 a good price for this 2024 VOLKSWAGEN TAOS?

1269 comparable 2024 VOLKSWAGEN TAOS listings sold at auction for a median of $6,650, spanning $3,950 to $10,700. At $7,200 this one went 8% above that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

How much below its undamaged value did this VOLKSWAGEN TAOS sell for?

The insurer put this 2024 VOLKSWAGEN TAOS's pre-damage retail value at $27,125. It sold for $7,200 — 73% below that. A gap this size is normal for auction vehicles: the buyer takes on the repair cost, the paperwork and the risk that damage is worse than the photos show.

What does "ENGINE STARTS" mean on this listing?

ENGINE STARTS is the auction's own condition note for this 2024 VOLKSWAGEN TAOS. It is a short status flag applied by the auction, not the result of a mechanical inspection. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

What does a salvage title mean for this VOLKSWAGEN TAOS?

This 2024 VOLKSWAGEN TAOS was sold on a salvage title. A salvage title means an insurer declared the vehicle a total loss. Repairing it and passing a state inspection can convert it to a rebuilt title, which stays on the record permanently and affects resale value.

Is 11,094 miles high for a 2024 VOLKSWAGEN TAOS?

Comparable 2024 VOLKSWAGEN TAOS listings at auction averaged 23,547 miles across 1269 sales, so at 11,094 miles this one sits 53% below that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.
