Question 1

What do right side 2025 VOLKSWAGEN TAOS models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 25 recorded sales of the 2025 VOLKSWAGEN TAOS with right side damage, the median was $8,300, from $4,850 to $12,100. That is 2% above the $8,100 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $7,950 a good price for this 2025 VOLKSWAGEN TAOS?

Accepted Answer

506 comparable 2025 VOLKSWAGEN TAOS listings sold at auction for a median of $8,100, spanning $4,150 to $13,100. At $7,950 this one went 2% below that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

This VOLKSWAGEN TAOS sold without keys — does that matter?

Accepted Answer

Yes, usually. A missing key means the vehicle often cannot be started or moved under its own power at the yard, so its condition is harder to verify and buyers bid more cautiously. Replacing a modern key and reprogramming it to the immobiliser typically runs into the hundreds. It is one of the more common reasons an otherwise sound car sells below its comparables.

Question 4

What does a clear mean for this VOLKSWAGEN TAOS?

Accepted Answer

This 2025 VOLKSWAGEN TAOS was sold on a clear. A clean title means no total-loss brand was recorded at the point of sale, which is unusual at salvage auctions and typically lifts the price.

Question 5

What does "NOT RUN" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

NOT RUN is the auction's own condition note for this 2025 VOLKSWAGEN TAOS. It means the vehicle started and moved under its own power during a brief check at the yard. It is not a mechanical inspection and says nothing about how far it would drive. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

Question 6

Is 10,706 miles high for a 2025 VOLKSWAGEN TAOS?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2025 VOLKSWAGEN TAOS listings at auction averaged 10,757 miles across 506 sales, so at 10,706 miles this one sits 0% above that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.
