Question 1

What do right front 2025 VOLKSWAGEN TAOS models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 18 recorded sales of the 2025 VOLKSWAGEN TAOS with right front damage, the median was $5,800, from $3,050 to $9,000. That is 28% below the $8,100 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $6,500 a good price for this 2025 VOLKSWAGEN TAOS?

Accepted Answer

553 comparable 2025 VOLKSWAGEN TAOS listings sold at auction for a median of $8,100, spanning $4,100 to $13,200. At $6,500 this one went 20% below that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

This VOLKSWAGEN TAOS sold without keys — does that matter?

Accepted Answer

Yes, usually. A missing key means the vehicle often cannot be started or moved under its own power at the yard, so its condition is harder to verify and buyers bid more cautiously. Replacing a modern key and reprogramming it to the immobiliser typically runs into the hundreds. It is one of the more common reasons an otherwise sound car sells below its comparables.

Question 4

What does "NOT RUN" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

NOT RUN is the auction's own condition note for this 2025 VOLKSWAGEN TAOS. It means the vehicle started and moved under its own power during a brief check at the yard. It is not a mechanical inspection and says nothing about how far it would drive. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

Question 5

What does a clear mean for this VOLKSWAGEN TAOS?

Accepted Answer

This 2025 VOLKSWAGEN TAOS was sold on a clear. A clean title means no total-loss brand was recorded at the point of sale, which is unusual at salvage auctions and typically lifts the price.

Question 6

How far is this VOLKSWAGEN TAOS from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at IAAI in CA - FONTANA. The nearest major vehicle export port is Long Beach, roughly 200 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $250-$350, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.
