Question 1

What do front end 2019 VOLKSWAGEN PASSAT models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 51 recorded sales of the 2019 VOLKSWAGEN PASSAT with front end damage, the median was $3,400, from $3,125 to $4,300. That is 5% below the $3,575 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

What does a salvage title mean for this VOLKSWAGEN PASSAT?

Accepted Answer

This 2019 VOLKSWAGEN PASSAT was sold on a salvage title. A salvage title means an insurer declared the vehicle a total loss. Repairing it and passing a state inspection can convert it to a rebuilt title, which stays on the record permanently and affects resale value.

Question 3

How far is this VOLKSWAGEN PASSAT from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at COPART in NY - BROOKHAVEN. The nearest major vehicle export port is Newark, roughly 160 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $200-$300, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

Question 4

Is 13,449 miles high for a 2019 VOLKSWAGEN PASSAT?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2019 VOLKSWAGEN PASSAT listings at auction averaged 77,857 miles across 138 sales, so at 13,449 miles this one sits 83% below that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 5

Did this 2019 VOLKSWAGEN PASSAT come with keys?

Accepted Answer

Yes — this lot was listed with keys present, which usually means the vehicle could at least be started or moved at the yard. Combined with front end damage, that tells you more about its condition than the damage label alone.

Question 6

What can I find out from VIN 1VWLA7A3XKC008858?

Accepted Answer

1VWLA7A3XKC008858 identifies this specific 2019 VOLKSWAGEN PASSAT in charcoal with a 2.0l 4 engine, front wheel drive. This page covers its auction history only. For ownership, servicing and reported accidents, run the VIN through Carfax, AutoCheck or NMVTIS — those records are separate from ours and we cannot change them.
