Question 1

What do side 2022 VOLKSWAGEN PASSAT models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 23 recorded sales of the 2022 VOLKSWAGEN PASSAT with side damage, the median was $6,050, from $3,500 to $7,000. That is 22% above the $4,950 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

How far is this VOLKSWAGEN PASSAT from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at COPART in OH - COLUMBUS. The nearest major vehicle export port is Baltimore, roughly 430 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $375-$525, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

Question 3

What does "RUN AND DRIVES" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

RUN AND DRIVES is the auction's own condition note for this 2022 VOLKSWAGEN PASSAT. It means the vehicle started and moved under its own power during a brief check at the yard. It is not a mechanical inspection and says nothing about how far it would drive. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

Question 4

Is 137,067 miles high for a 2022 VOLKSWAGEN PASSAT?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2022 VOLKSWAGEN PASSAT listings at auction averaged 66,046 miles across 254 sales, so at 137,067 miles this one sits 108% above that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 5

What can I find out from VIN 1VWSA7A34NC000822?

Accepted Answer

1VWSA7A34NC000822 identifies this specific 2022 VOLKSWAGEN PASSAT in black with a 2.0l 4 engine, front wheel drive. This page covers its auction history only. For ownership, servicing and reported accidents, run the VIN through Carfax, AutoCheck or NMVTIS — those records are separate from ours and we cannot change them.

Question 6

Did this 2022 VOLKSWAGEN PASSAT come with keys?

Accepted Answer

Yes — this lot was listed with keys present, which usually means the vehicle could at least be started or moved at the yard. Combined with side damage, that tells you more about its condition than the damage label alone.
