Question 1

What do front end 2021 VOLKSWAGEN PASSAT models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 189 recorded sales of the 2021 VOLKSWAGEN PASSAT with front end damage, the median was $4,050, from $3,150 to $5,800. That is 7% below the $4,350 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $3,100 a good price for this 2021 VOLKSWAGEN PASSAT?

Accepted Answer

457 comparable 2021 VOLKSWAGEN PASSAT listings sold at auction for a median of $4,350, spanning $3,200 to $6,600. At $3,100 this one went 29% below that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

How much below its undamaged value did this VOLKSWAGEN PASSAT sell for?

Accepted Answer

The insurer put this 2021 VOLKSWAGEN PASSAT's pre-damage retail value at $14,017. It sold for $3,100 — 78% below that. A gap this size is normal for auction vehicles: the buyer takes on the repair cost, the paperwork and the risk that damage is worse than the photos show.

Question 4

What does a non-repairable mean for this VOLKSWAGEN PASSAT?

Accepted Answer

This 2021 VOLKSWAGEN PASSAT was sold on a non-repairable. That is the most restrictive category: in most US states the vehicle cannot be retitled for road use and is intended for parts or export only. Import rules vary by country, so check locally before bidding.

Question 5

This VOLKSWAGEN PASSAT has front end and side damage — how does that affect it?

Accepted Answer

Damage recorded in two areas usually points to a heavier impact than either label suggests on its own, and it raises the odds of structural damage behind the panels. The auction records the primary and secondary areas only; it does not assess the frame. Photographs and, where available, a physical inspection are the only way to judge how far it goes.

Question 6

Is 71,816 miles high for a 2021 VOLKSWAGEN PASSAT?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2021 VOLKSWAGEN PASSAT listings at auction averaged 75,728 miles across 457 sales, so at 71,816 miles this one sits 5% below that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.
