Question 1

What do front end 2020 VOLKSWAGEN PASSAT models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 229 recorded sales of the 2020 VOLKSWAGEN PASSAT with front end damage, the median was $4,100, from $3,100 to $6,100. That is 4% below the $4,250 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

How far is this VOLKSWAGEN PASSAT from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at COPART in CA - SAN DIEGO. The nearest major vehicle export port is Long Beach, roughly 200 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $250-$350, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

Question 3

This VOLKSWAGEN PASSAT has front end and side damage — how does that affect it?

Accepted Answer

Damage recorded in two areas usually points to a heavier impact than either label suggests on its own, and it raises the odds of structural damage behind the panels. The auction records the primary and secondary areas only; it does not assess the frame. Photographs and, where available, a physical inspection are the only way to judge how far it goes.

Question 4

Is 66,625 miles high for a 2020 VOLKSWAGEN PASSAT?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2020 VOLKSWAGEN PASSAT listings at auction averaged 77,519 miles across 498 sales, so at 66,625 miles this one sits 14% below that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 5

Did this 2020 VOLKSWAGEN PASSAT come with keys?

Accepted Answer

Yes — this lot was listed with keys present, which usually means the vehicle could at least be started or moved at the yard. Combined with front end damage, that tells you more about its condition than the damage label alone.

Question 6

Can I buy this 2020 VOLKSWAGEN PASSAT from AutoBidCar?

Accepted Answer

No. AutoBidCar is an archive of past auction listings, not a seller — we have never owned this vehicle. This 2020 VOLKSWAGEN PASSAT was listed at COPART as lot 70382376 and any sale happened there. We publish the record so buyers can research what comparable vehicles actually sold for.
