Question 1

What do minor dent/scratches 2018 VOLKSWAGEN PASSAT models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 16 recorded sales of the 2018 VOLKSWAGEN PASSAT with minor dent/scratches damage, the median was $3,750, from $3,200 to $4,800. That is 3% above the $3,650 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

How far is this VOLKSWAGEN PASSAT from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at COPART in IL - WHEELING. The nearest major vehicle export port is Baltimore, roughly 700 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $450-$675, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

Question 3

Is 90,492 miles high for a 2018 VOLKSWAGEN PASSAT?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2018 VOLKSWAGEN PASSAT listings at auction averaged 82,470 miles across 398 sales, so at 90,492 miles this one sits 10% above that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 4

Did this 2018 VOLKSWAGEN PASSAT come with keys?

Accepted Answer

Yes — this lot was listed with keys present, which usually means the vehicle could at least be started or moved at the yard. Combined with minor dent/scratches damage, that tells you more about its condition than the damage label alone.

Question 5

Can I buy this 2018 VOLKSWAGEN PASSAT from AutoBidCar?

Accepted Answer

No. AutoBidCar is an archive of past auction listings, not a seller — we have never owned this vehicle. This 2018 VOLKSWAGEN PASSAT was listed at COPART as lot 65194605 and any sale happened there. We publish the record so buyers can research what comparable vehicles actually sold for.
