Question 1

What do front end 2019 VOLKSWAGEN PASSAT models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 53 recorded sales of the 2019 VOLKSWAGEN PASSAT with front end damage, the median was $3,400, from $3,125 to $4,300. That is 4% below the $3,550 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

What does "RUN AND DRIVES" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

RUN AND DRIVES is the auction's own condition note for this 2019 VOLKSWAGEN PASSAT. It means the vehicle started and moved under its own power during a brief check at the yard. It is not a mechanical inspection and says nothing about how far it would drive. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

Question 3

Is 118,666 miles high for a 2019 VOLKSWAGEN PASSAT?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2019 VOLKSWAGEN PASSAT listings at auction averaged 79,265 miles across 144 sales, so at 118,666 miles this one sits 50% above that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 4

Who sold this 2019 VOLKSWAGEN PASSAT?

Accepted Answer

The listing seller was STATE FARM INSURANCE. Seller type is a useful signal: insurers typically consign total-loss vehicles, rental and fleet operators consign on a cycle regardless of damage, and dealers consign trade-ins they do not want to retail. Each implies a different history behind the same damage label.

Question 5

Did this 2019 VOLKSWAGEN PASSAT come with keys?

Accepted Answer

Yes — this lot was listed with keys present, which usually means the vehicle could at least be started or moved at the yard. Combined with front end damage, that tells you more about its condition than the damage label alone.

Question 6

Can I buy this 2019 VOLKSWAGEN PASSAT from AutoBidCar?

Accepted Answer

No. AutoBidCar is an archive of past auction listings, not a seller — we have never owned this vehicle. This 2019 VOLKSWAGEN PASSAT was listed at IAAI as lot 46309228 and any sale happened there. We publish the record so buyers can research what comparable vehicles actually sold for.
