Question 1

What do front end 2021 VOLKSWAGEN PASSAT models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 180 recorded sales of the 2021 VOLKSWAGEN PASSAT with front end damage, the median was $4,050, from $3,150 to $5,900. That is 7% below the $4,350 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

This VOLKSWAGEN PASSAT sold without keys — does that matter?

Accepted Answer

Yes, usually. A missing key means the vehicle often cannot be started or moved under its own power at the yard, so its condition is harder to verify and buyers bid more cautiously. Replacing a modern key and reprogramming it to the immobiliser typically runs into the hundreds. It is one of the more common reasons an otherwise sound car sells below its comparables.

Question 3

Is 90,540 miles high for a 2021 VOLKSWAGEN PASSAT?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2021 VOLKSWAGEN PASSAT listings at auction averaged 75,478 miles across 436 sales, so at 90,540 miles this one sits 20% above that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 4

Who sold this 2021 VOLKSWAGEN PASSAT?

Accepted Answer

The listing seller was STATE FARM INSURANCE. Seller type is a useful signal: insurers typically consign total-loss vehicles, rental and fleet operators consign on a cycle regardless of damage, and dealers consign trade-ins they do not want to retail. Each implies a different history behind the same damage label.

Question 5

Can I buy this 2021 VOLKSWAGEN PASSAT from AutoBidCar?

Accepted Answer

No. AutoBidCar is an archive of past auction listings, not a seller — we have never owned this vehicle. This 2021 VOLKSWAGEN PASSAT was listed at IAAI as lot 46261605 and any sale happened there. We publish the record so buyers can research what comparable vehicles actually sold for.

Question 6
