Question 1

What do front end 2020 VOLKSWAGEN PASSAT models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 230 recorded sales of the 2020 VOLKSWAGEN PASSAT with front end damage, the median was $4,125, from $3,125 to $6,100. That is 3% below the $4,250 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $4,500 a good price for this 2020 VOLKSWAGEN PASSAT?

Accepted Answer

498 comparable 2020 VOLKSWAGEN PASSAT listings sold at auction for a median of $4,250, spanning $3,200 to $6,300. At $4,500 this one went 6% above that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

What does a non-repairable mean for this VOLKSWAGEN PASSAT?

Accepted Answer

This 2020 VOLKSWAGEN PASSAT was sold on a non-repairable. That is the most restrictive category: in most US states the vehicle cannot be retitled for road use and is intended for parts or export only. Import rules vary by country, so check locally before bidding.

Question 4

This VOLKSWAGEN PASSAT has front end and left & right side damage — how does that affect it?

Accepted Answer

Damage recorded in two areas usually points to a heavier impact than either label suggests on its own, and it raises the odds of structural damage behind the panels. The auction records the primary and secondary areas only; it does not assess the frame. Photographs and, where available, a physical inspection are the only way to judge how far it goes.

Question 5

Is 150,783 miles high for a 2020 VOLKSWAGEN PASSAT?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2020 VOLKSWAGEN PASSAT listings at auction averaged 77,690 miles across 498 sales, so at 150,783 miles this one sits 94% above that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 6

How far is this VOLKSWAGEN PASSAT from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at IAAI in FL - CLEARWATER. The nearest major vehicle export port is Jacksonville, roughly 200 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $250-$350, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.
