Question 1

What do front end 2022 VOLKSWAGEN PASSAT models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 117 recorded sales of the 2022 VOLKSWAGEN PASSAT with front end damage, the median was $4,425, from $3,150 to $6,300. That is 11% below the $4,950 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $4,175 a good price for this 2022 VOLKSWAGEN PASSAT?

Accepted Answer

258 comparable 2022 VOLKSWAGEN PASSAT listings sold at auction for a median of $4,950, spanning $3,350 to $7,225. At $4,175 this one went 16% below that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

What does a non-repairable mean for this VOLKSWAGEN PASSAT?

Accepted Answer

This 2022 VOLKSWAGEN PASSAT was sold on a non-repairable. That is the most restrictive category: in most US states the vehicle cannot be retitled for road use and is intended for parts or export only. Import rules vary by country, so check locally before bidding.

Question 4

How far is this VOLKSWAGEN PASSAT from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at IAAI in WI - SUSSEX. The nearest major vehicle export port is Baltimore, roughly 850 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $550-$800, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

Question 5

Is 39,591 miles high for a 2022 VOLKSWAGEN PASSAT?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2022 VOLKSWAGEN PASSAT listings at auction averaged 65,603 miles across 258 sales, so at 39,591 miles this one sits 40% below that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 6

What does "NOT RUN" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

NOT RUN is the auction's own condition note for this 2022 VOLKSWAGEN PASSAT. It means the vehicle started and moved under its own power during a brief check at the yard. It is not a mechanical inspection and says nothing about how far it would drive. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.
