Question 1

What do rear 2018 VOLKSWAGEN PASSAT models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 22 recorded sales of the 2018 VOLKSWAGEN PASSAT with rear damage, the median was $3,600, from $3,250 to $4,750. That is 1% below the $3,650 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

What does a on-not branded-ontario mean for this VOLKSWAGEN PASSAT?

Accepted Answer

This 2018 VOLKSWAGEN PASSAT was sold on a on-not branded-ontario. The title type is the auction's own classification and determines what can legally be done with the vehicle afterwards.

Question 3

What does "NOT RUN" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

NOT RUN is the auction's own condition note for this 2018 VOLKSWAGEN PASSAT. It means the vehicle started and moved under its own power during a brief check at the yard. It is not a mechanical inspection and says nothing about how far it would drive. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

Question 4

This VOLKSWAGEN PASSAT has rear and rear window damage — how does that affect it?

Accepted Answer

Damage recorded in two areas usually points to a heavier impact than either label suggests on its own, and it raises the odds of structural damage behind the panels. The auction records the primary and secondary areas only; it does not assess the frame. Photographs and, where available, a physical inspection are the only way to judge how far it goes.

Question 5

Is 132,082 miles high for a 2018 VOLKSWAGEN PASSAT?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2018 VOLKSWAGEN PASSAT listings at auction averaged 82,024 miles across 375 sales, so at 132,082 miles this one sits 61% above that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 6

Did this 2018 VOLKSWAGEN PASSAT come with keys?

Accepted Answer

Yes — this lot was listed with keys present, which usually means the vehicle could at least be started or moved at the yard. Combined with rear damage, that tells you more about its condition than the damage label alone.
