Question 1

Was $5,900 a good price for this 2025 VOLKSWAGEN JETTA?

Accepted Answer

1477 comparable 2025 VOLKSWAGEN JETTA listings sold at auction for a median of $7,438, spanning $4,050 to $12,100. At $5,900 this one went 21% below that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 2

What does a salvage title mean for this VOLKSWAGEN JETTA?

Accepted Answer

This 2025 VOLKSWAGEN JETTA was sold on a salvage title. A salvage title means an insurer declared the vehicle a total loss. Repairing it and passing a state inspection can convert it to a rebuilt title, which stays on the record permanently and affects resale value.

Question 3

How far is this VOLKSWAGEN JETTA from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at COPART in NY - LEROY. The nearest major vehicle export port is Newark, roughly 160 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $200-$300, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

Question 4

This VOLKSWAGEN JETTA has water/flood and top/roof damage — how does that affect it?

Accepted Answer

Damage recorded in two areas usually points to a heavier impact than either label suggests on its own, and it raises the odds of structural damage behind the panels. The auction records the primary and secondary areas only; it does not assess the frame. Photographs and, where available, a physical inspection are the only way to judge how far it goes.

Question 5

Is 3,657 miles high for a 2025 VOLKSWAGEN JETTA?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2025 VOLKSWAGEN JETTA listings at auction averaged 15,053 miles across 1477 sales, so at 3,657 miles this one sits 76% below that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 6

Did this 2025 VOLKSWAGEN JETTA come with keys?

Accepted Answer

Yes — this lot was listed with keys present, which usually means the vehicle could at least be started or moved at the yard. Combined with water/flood damage, that tells you more about its condition than the damage label alone.
