What do front end 2020 VOLKSWAGEN JETTA models sell for?

Across 655 recorded sales of the 2020 VOLKSWAGEN JETTA with front end damage, the median was $3,950, from $3,150 to $5,800. That is 5% below the $4,150 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Was $5,600 a good price for this 2020 VOLKSWAGEN JETTA?

1436 comparable 2020 VOLKSWAGEN JETTA listings sold at auction for a median of $4,150, spanning $3,150 to $6,400. At $5,600 this one went 35% above that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

How much below its undamaged value did this VOLKSWAGEN JETTA sell for?

The insurer put this 2020 VOLKSWAGEN JETTA's pre-damage retail value at $18,073. It sold for $5,600 — 69% below that. A gap this size is normal for auction vehicles: the buyer takes on the repair cost, the paperwork and the risk that damage is worse than the photos show.

How far is this VOLKSWAGEN JETTA from an export port?

The lot sat at COPART in NE - GREENWOOD. The nearest major vehicle export port is Houston, roughly 900 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $575-$850, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

What does a clean title mean for this VOLKSWAGEN JETTA?

This 2020 VOLKSWAGEN JETTA was sold on a clean title. A clean title means no total-loss brand was recorded at the point of sale, which is unusual at salvage auctions and typically lifts the price.

Is 48,368 miles high for a 2020 VOLKSWAGEN JETTA?

Comparable 2020 VOLKSWAGEN JETTA listings at auction averaged 71,048 miles across 1436 sales, so at 48,368 miles this one sits 32% below that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.
