What do side 2023 VOLKSWAGEN JETTA models sell for?

Across 125 recorded sales of the 2023 VOLKSWAGEN JETTA with side damage, the median was $6,275, from $3,600 to $8,700. That is 5% above the $6,000 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Was $5,600 a good price for this 2023 VOLKSWAGEN JETTA?

1106 comparable 2023 VOLKSWAGEN JETTA listings sold at auction for a median of $6,000, spanning $3,700 to $9,000. At $5,600 this one went 7% below that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

How much below its undamaged value did this VOLKSWAGEN JETTA sell for?

The insurer put this 2023 VOLKSWAGEN JETTA's pre-damage retail value at $16,695. It sold for $5,600 — 66% below that. A gap this size is normal for auction vehicles: the buyer takes on the repair cost, the paperwork and the risk that damage is worse than the photos show.

What does a salvage title mean for this VOLKSWAGEN JETTA?

This 2023 VOLKSWAGEN JETTA was sold on a salvage title. A salvage title means an insurer declared the vehicle a total loss. Repairing it and passing a state inspection can convert it to a rebuilt title, which stays on the record permanently and affects resale value.

What does "RUN AND DRIVES" mean on this listing?

RUN AND DRIVES is the auction's own condition note for this 2023 VOLKSWAGEN JETTA. It means the vehicle started and moved under its own power during a brief check at the yard. It is not a mechanical inspection and says nothing about how far it would drive. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

Is 50,061 miles high for a 2023 VOLKSWAGEN JETTA?

Comparable 2023 VOLKSWAGEN JETTA listings at auction averaged 37,307 miles across 1106 sales, so at 50,061 miles this one sits 34% above that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.
