Question 1

What do side 2025 VOLKSWAGEN JETTA models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 167 recorded sales of the 2025 VOLKSWAGEN JETTA with side damage, the median was $7,900, from $5,600 to $12,000. That is 6% above the $7,425 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $4,800 a good price for this 2025 VOLKSWAGEN JETTA?

Accepted Answer

1478 comparable 2025 VOLKSWAGEN JETTA listings sold at auction for a median of $7,425, spanning $4,050 to $12,100. At $4,800 this one went 35% below that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

How much below its undamaged value did this VOLKSWAGEN JETTA sell for?

Accepted Answer

The insurer put this 2025 VOLKSWAGEN JETTA's pre-damage retail value at $19,573. It sold for $4,800 — 75% below that. A gap this size is normal for auction vehicles: the buyer takes on the repair cost, the paperwork and the risk that damage is worse than the photos show.

Question 4

How far is this VOLKSWAGEN JETTA from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at COPART in CT - NEW BRITAIN. The nearest major vehicle export port is Newark, roughly 120 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $200-$300, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

Question 5

What does "RUN AND DRIVES" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

RUN AND DRIVES is the auction's own condition note for this 2025 VOLKSWAGEN JETTA. It means the vehicle started and moved under its own power during a brief check at the yard. It is not a mechanical inspection and says nothing about how far it would drive. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

Question 6

Is 30,450 miles high for a 2025 VOLKSWAGEN JETTA?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2025 VOLKSWAGEN JETTA listings at auction averaged 15,060 miles across 1478 sales, so at 30,450 miles this one sits 102% above that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.
