Question 1

What do water/flood 2021 VOLKSWAGEN JETTA models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 12 recorded sales of the 2021 VOLKSWAGEN JETTA with water/flood damage, the median was $6,000, from $3,400 to $7,800. That is 21% above the $4,950 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $3,400 a good price for this 2021 VOLKSWAGEN JETTA?

Accepted Answer

1889 comparable 2021 VOLKSWAGEN JETTA listings sold at auction for a median of $4,950, spanning $3,300 to $8,600. At $3,400 this one went 31% below that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

How much below its undamaged value did this VOLKSWAGEN JETTA sell for?

Accepted Answer

The insurer put this 2021 VOLKSWAGEN JETTA's pre-damage retail value at $14,694. It sold for $3,400 — 77% below that. A gap this size is normal for auction vehicles: the buyer takes on the repair cost, the paperwork and the risk that damage is worse than the photos show.

Question 4

What does "ENHANCED" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

ENHANCED is the auction's own condition note for this 2021 VOLKSWAGEN JETTA. It marks a lot the auction has given extra listing prominence, not a statement about condition. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

Question 5

How far is this VOLKSWAGEN JETTA from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at COPART in NJ - WINDSOR. The nearest major vehicle export port is Newark, roughly 30 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $200-$300, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

Question 6

Is 49,511 miles high for a 2021 VOLKSWAGEN JETTA?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2021 VOLKSWAGEN JETTA listings at auction averaged 63,570 miles across 1889 sales, so at 49,511 miles this one sits 22% below that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.
