Question 1

What do rear 2025 VOLKSWAGEN JETTA models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 75 recorded sales of the 2025 VOLKSWAGEN JETTA with rear damage, the median was $8,850, from $5,200 to $12,075. That is 20% above the $7,400 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $9,900 a good price for this 2025 VOLKSWAGEN JETTA?

Accepted Answer

1493 comparable 2025 VOLKSWAGEN JETTA listings sold at auction for a median of $7,400, spanning $4,050 to $12,100. At $9,900 this one went 34% above that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

What does a clear mean for this VOLKSWAGEN JETTA?

Accepted Answer

This 2025 VOLKSWAGEN JETTA was sold on a clear. A clean title means no total-loss brand was recorded at the point of sale, which is unusual at salvage auctions and typically lifts the price.

Question 4

How far is this VOLKSWAGEN JETTA from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at IAAI in AL - GRANITE CITY. The nearest major vehicle export port is New Orleans, roughly 350 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $300-$425, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

Question 5

This VOLKSWAGEN JETTA has rear and left & right side damage — how does that affect it?

Accepted Answer

Damage recorded in two areas usually points to a heavier impact than either label suggests on its own, and it raises the odds of structural damage behind the panels. The auction records the primary and secondary areas only; it does not assess the frame. Photographs and, where available, a physical inspection are the only way to judge how far it goes.

Question 6

Is 42,375 miles high for a 2025 VOLKSWAGEN JETTA?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2025 VOLKSWAGEN JETTA listings at auction averaged 15,179 miles across 1493 sales, so at 42,375 miles this one sits 179% above that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.
