Question 1

What do front end 2025 VOLKSWAGEN JETTA models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 678 recorded sales of the 2025 VOLKSWAGEN JETTA with front end damage, the median was $6,600, from $3,900 to $10,800. That is 11% below the $7,438 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $8,500 a good price for this 2025 VOLKSWAGEN JETTA?

Accepted Answer

1477 comparable 2025 VOLKSWAGEN JETTA listings sold at auction for a median of $7,438, spanning $4,050 to $12,100. At $8,500 this one went 14% above that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

This VOLKSWAGEN JETTA sold without keys — does that matter?

Accepted Answer

Yes, usually. A missing key means the vehicle often cannot be started or moved under its own power at the yard, so its condition is harder to verify and buyers bid more cautiously. Replacing a modern key and reprogramming it to the immobiliser typically runs into the hundreds. It is one of the more common reasons an otherwise sound car sells below its comparables.

Question 4

How far is this VOLKSWAGEN JETTA from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at IAAI in AL - BESSEMER. The nearest major vehicle export port is New Orleans, roughly 350 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $300-$425, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

Question 5

What does "NOT RUN" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

NOT RUN is the auction's own condition note for this 2025 VOLKSWAGEN JETTA. It means the vehicle started and moved under its own power during a brief check at the yard. It is not a mechanical inspection and says nothing about how far it would drive. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

Question 6

Is 20,238 miles high for a 2025 VOLKSWAGEN JETTA?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2025 VOLKSWAGEN JETTA listings at auction averaged 15,053 miles across 1477 sales, so at 20,238 miles this one sits 34% above that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.
