Question 1

What do rear 2025 VOLKSWAGEN JETTA models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 74 recorded sales of the 2025 VOLKSWAGEN JETTA with rear damage, the median was $9,000, from $5,200 to $12,075. That is 21% above the $7,438 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $8,000 a good price for this 2025 VOLKSWAGEN JETTA?

Accepted Answer

1477 comparable 2025 VOLKSWAGEN JETTA listings sold at auction for a median of $7,438, spanning $4,050 to $12,100. At $8,000 this one went 8% above that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

What does a clear mean for this VOLKSWAGEN JETTA?

Accepted Answer

This 2025 VOLKSWAGEN JETTA was sold on a clear. A clean title means no total-loss brand was recorded at the point of sale, which is unusual at salvage auctions and typically lifts the price.

Question 4

How far is this VOLKSWAGEN JETTA from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at IAAI in OR - WOODBURN. The nearest major vehicle export port is Tacoma, roughly 180 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $225-$325, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

Question 5

What does "RUN AND DRIVES" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

RUN AND DRIVES is the auction's own condition note for this 2025 VOLKSWAGEN JETTA. It means the vehicle started and moved under its own power during a brief check at the yard. It is not a mechanical inspection and says nothing about how far it would drive. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

Question 6

Is 6,945 miles high for a 2025 VOLKSWAGEN JETTA?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2025 VOLKSWAGEN JETTA listings at auction averaged 15,046 miles across 1477 sales, so at 6,945 miles this one sits 54% below that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.
