Question 1

What do rear 2016 VOLKSWAGEN JETTA models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 20 recorded sales of the 2016 VOLKSWAGEN JETTA with rear damage, the median was $3,300, from $3,100 to $4,175. That is 1% below the $3,350 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

This VOLKSWAGEN JETTA sold without keys — does that matter?

Accepted Answer

Yes, usually. A missing key means the vehicle often cannot be started or moved under its own power at the yard, so its condition is harder to verify and buyers bid more cautiously. Replacing a modern key and reprogramming it to the immobiliser typically runs into the hundreds. It is one of the more common reasons an otherwise sound car sells below its comparables.

Question 3

What does "NOT RUN" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

NOT RUN is the auction's own condition note for this 2016 VOLKSWAGEN JETTA. It means the vehicle started and moved under its own power during a brief check at the yard. It is not a mechanical inspection and says nothing about how far it would drive. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

Question 4

Is 74,394 miles high for a 2016 VOLKSWAGEN JETTA?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2016 VOLKSWAGEN JETTA listings at auction averaged 92,801 miles across 262 sales, so at 74,394 miles this one sits 20% below that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 5

Can I buy this 2016 VOLKSWAGEN JETTA from AutoBidCar?

Accepted Answer

No. AutoBidCar is an archive of past auction listings, not a seller — we have never owned this vehicle. This 2016 VOLKSWAGEN JETTA was listed at IAAI as lot 44200699 and any sale happened there. We publish the record so buyers can research what comparable vehicles actually sold for.

Question 6

What can I find out from VIN 3VWD67AJ5GM265243?

Accepted Answer

3VWD67AJ5GM265243 identifies this specific 2016 VOLKSWAGEN JETTA in white with a 1.4l i-4 di, dohc, vvt, turbo, 150hp engine, front wheel drive. This page covers its auction history only.
