Question 1

How far is this VOLKSWAGEN JETTA from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at IAAI in OH - GROVE CITY. The nearest major vehicle export port is Baltimore, roughly 430 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $375-$525, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

Question 2

Is 98,002 miles high for a 2018 VOLKSWAGEN JETTA?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2018 VOLKSWAGEN JETTA listings at auction averaged 83,877 miles across 265 sales, so at 98,002 miles this one sits 17% above that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 3

Who sold this 2018 VOLKSWAGEN JETTA?

Accepted Answer

The listing seller was PROGRESSIVE. Seller type is a useful signal: insurers typically consign total-loss vehicles, rental and fleet operators consign on a cycle regardless of damage, and dealers consign trade-ins they do not want to retail. Each implies a different history behind the same damage label.

Question 4

Did this 2018 VOLKSWAGEN JETTA come with keys?

Accepted Answer

Yes — this lot was listed with keys present, which usually means the vehicle could at least be started or moved at the yard. Combined with rollover damage, that tells you more about its condition than the damage label alone.

Question 5

Can I buy this 2018 VOLKSWAGEN JETTA from AutoBidCar?
