Question 1

What do left side 2022 VOLKSWAGEN ID.4 models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 15 recorded sales of the 2022 VOLKSWAGEN ID.4 with left side damage, the median was $9,275, from $5,600 to $13,100. That is 7% above the $8,700 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $8,200 a good price for this 2022 VOLKSWAGEN ID.4?

Accepted Answer

227 comparable 2022 VOLKSWAGEN ID.4 listings sold at auction for a median of $8,700, spanning $4,700 to $13,000. At $8,200 this one went 6% below that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

How far is this VOLKSWAGEN ID.4 from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at IAAI in NC - CLAYTON. The nearest major vehicle export port is Charleston, roughly 280 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $250-$325, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

Question 4

This VOLKSWAGEN ID.4 has left side and unknown damage — how does that affect it?

Accepted Answer

Damage recorded in two areas usually points to a heavier impact than either label suggests on its own, and it raises the odds of structural damage behind the panels. The auction records the primary and secondary areas only; it does not assess the frame. Photographs and, where available, a physical inspection are the only way to judge how far it goes.

Question 5

Is 66,574 miles high for a 2022 VOLKSWAGEN ID.4?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2022 VOLKSWAGEN ID.4 listings at auction averaged 38,594 miles across 227 sales, so at 66,574 miles this one sits 72% above that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 6

Did this 2022 VOLKSWAGEN ID.4 come with keys?

Accepted Answer

Yes — this lot was listed with keys present, which usually means the vehicle could at least be started or moved at the yard. Combined with left side damage, that tells you more about its condition than the damage label alone.
