Question 1

What do rear 2023 VOLKSWAGEN ID.4 models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 45 recorded sales of the 2023 VOLKSWAGEN ID.4 with rear damage, the median was $10,625, from $6,275 to $15,200. That is 9% above the $9,725 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $7,400 a good price for this 2023 VOLKSWAGEN ID.4?

Accepted Answer

846 comparable 2023 VOLKSWAGEN ID.4 listings sold at auction for a median of $9,725, spanning $5,300 to $14,250. At $7,400 this one went 24% below that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

What does a salvage mean for this VOLKSWAGEN ID.4?

Accepted Answer

This 2023 VOLKSWAGEN ID.4 was sold on a salvage. A salvage title means an insurer declared the vehicle a total loss. Repairing it and passing a state inspection can convert it to a rebuilt title, which stays on the record permanently and affects resale value.

Question 4

How far is this VOLKSWAGEN ID.4 from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at IAAI in NV - LAS VEGAS. The nearest major vehicle export port is Long Beach, roughly 350 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $300-$425, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

Question 5

Is 124,098 miles high for a 2023 VOLKSWAGEN ID.4?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2023 VOLKSWAGEN ID.4 listings at auction averaged 27,884 miles across 846 sales, so at 124,098 miles this one sits 345% above that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 6

What does "RUN AND DRIVES" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

RUN AND DRIVES is the auction's own condition note for this 2023 VOLKSWAGEN ID.4. It means the vehicle started and moved under its own power during a brief check at the yard. It is not a mechanical inspection and says nothing about how far it would drive. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.
