Question 1

What do rear end 2021 VOLKSWAGEN ID.4 models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 40 recorded sales of the 2021 VOLKSWAGEN ID.4 with rear end damage, the median was $9,300, from $6,300 to $11,500. That is 17% above the $7,975 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

What does a salvage title mean for this VOLKSWAGEN ID.4?

Accepted Answer

This 2021 VOLKSWAGEN ID.4 was sold on a salvage title. A salvage title means an insurer declared the vehicle a total loss. Repairing it and passing a state inspection can convert it to a rebuilt title, which stays on the record permanently and affects resale value.

Question 3

How far is this VOLKSWAGEN ID.4 from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at COPART in IL - CHICAGO HEIGHTS. The nearest major vehicle export port is Baltimore, roughly 700 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $450-$675, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

Question 4

What does "ENHANCED" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

ENHANCED is the auction's own condition note for this 2021 VOLKSWAGEN ID.4. It marks a lot the auction has given extra listing prominence, not a statement about condition. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

Question 5

This VOLKSWAGEN ID.4 has rear end and front end damage — how does that affect it?

Accepted Answer

Damage recorded in two areas usually points to a heavier impact than either label suggests on its own, and it raises the odds of structural damage behind the panels. The auction records the primary and secondary areas only; it does not assess the frame. Photographs and, where available, a physical inspection are the only way to judge how far it goes.

Question 6

Is 37,610 miles high for a 2021 VOLKSWAGEN ID.4?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2021 VOLKSWAGEN ID.4 listings at auction averaged 50,948 miles across 411 sales, so at 37,610 miles this one sits 26% below that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.
