Question 1

What do left side 2022 VOLKSWAGEN ID.4 models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 15 recorded sales of the 2022 VOLKSWAGEN ID.4 with left side damage, the median was $9,275, from $5,600 to $13,100. That is 7% above the $8,700 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $8,400 a good price for this 2022 VOLKSWAGEN ID.4?

Accepted Answer

227 comparable 2022 VOLKSWAGEN ID.4 listings sold at auction for a median of $8,700, spanning $4,700 to $13,000. At $8,400 this one went 3% below that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

This VOLKSWAGEN ID.4 sold without keys — does that matter?

Accepted Answer

Yes, usually. A missing key means the vehicle often cannot be started or moved under its own power at the yard, so its condition is harder to verify and buyers bid more cautiously. Replacing a modern key and reprogramming it to the immobiliser typically runs into the hundreds. It is one of the more common reasons an otherwise sound car sells below its comparables.

Question 4

What does a non-repairable mean for this VOLKSWAGEN ID.4?

Accepted Answer

This 2022 VOLKSWAGEN ID.4 was sold on a non-repairable. That is the most restrictive category: in most US states the vehicle cannot be retitled for road use and is intended for parts or export only. Import rules vary by country, so check locally before bidding.

Question 5

Is 39,694 miles high for a 2022 VOLKSWAGEN ID.4?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2022 VOLKSWAGEN ID.4 listings at auction averaged 38,594 miles across 227 sales, so at 39,694 miles this one sits 3% above that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 6

How far is this VOLKSWAGEN ID.4 from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at IAAI in MI - BYRON CENTER. The nearest major vehicle export port is Baltimore, roughly 550 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $475-$650, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.
