Question 1

How far is this VOLKSWAGEN GTI from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at COPART in CA - SUN VALLEY. The nearest major vehicle export port is Long Beach, roughly 200 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $250-$350, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

Question 2

This VOLKSWAGEN GTI has mechanical and front end damage — how does that affect it?

Accepted Answer

Damage recorded in two areas usually points to a heavier impact than either label suggests on its own, and it raises the odds of structural damage behind the panels. The auction records the primary and secondary areas only; it does not assess the frame. Photographs and, where available, a physical inspection are the only way to judge how far it goes.

Question 3

Is 94,229 miles high for a 2017 VOLKSWAGEN GTI?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2017 VOLKSWAGEN GTI listings at auction averaged 99,063 miles across 424 sales, so at 94,229 miles this one sits 5% below that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 4

Did this 2017 VOLKSWAGEN GTI come with keys?

Accepted Answer

Yes — this lot was listed with keys present, which usually means the vehicle could at least be started or moved at the yard. Combined with mechanical damage, that tells you more about its condition than the damage label alone.

Question 5

What can I find out from VIN 3VW4T7AUXHM065625?

Accepted Answer

3VW4T7AUXHM065625 identifies this specific 2017 VOLKSWAGEN GTI in black with a 2 l 4 engine, front wheel drive. This page covers its auction history only. For ownership, servicing and reported accidents, run the VIN through Carfax, AutoCheck or NMVTIS — those records are separate from ours and we cannot change them.

Question 6

Can I buy this 2017 VOLKSWAGEN GTI from AutoBidCar?

Accepted Answer

No. AutoBidCar is an archive of past auction listings, not a seller — we have never owned this vehicle. This 2017 VOLKSWAGEN GTI was listed at COPART as lot 51281695 and any sale happened there. We publish the record so buyers can research what comparable vehicles actually sold for.
