What does a gravement accidente mean for this VOLKSWAGEN GOLF?

This 2017 VOLKSWAGEN GOLF was sold on a gravement accidente. The title type is the auction's own classification and determines what can legally be done with the vehicle afterwards.

What does "ENGINE STARTS" mean on this listing?

ENGINE STARTS is the auction's own condition note for this 2017 VOLKSWAGEN GOLF. It is a short status flag applied by the auction, not the result of a mechanical inspection. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

Is 99,258 miles high for a 2017 VOLKSWAGEN GOLF?

Comparable 2017 VOLKSWAGEN GOLF listings at auction averaged 76,474 miles across 328 sales, so at 99,258 miles this one sits 30% above that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Where was this VOLKSWAGEN GOLF located?

The lot was held at COPART in QC - MONTREAL-EST. Location sets the inland transport cost to a port or a repair shop, and state title rules differ, so two otherwise identical cars can be worth noticeably different amounts.

Did this 2017 VOLKSWAGEN GOLF come with keys?

Yes — this lot was listed with keys present, which usually means the vehicle could at least be started or moved at the yard. Combined with all over damage, that tells you more about its condition than the damage label alone.

Can I buy this 2017 VOLKSWAGEN GOLF from AutoBidCar?

No. AutoBidCar is an archive of past auction listings, not a seller — we have never owned this vehicle. This 2017 VOLKSWAGEN GOLF was listed at COPART as lot 59261414 and any sale happened there. We publish the record so buyers can research what comparable vehicles actually sold for.
