Question 1

What do front end 2019 VOLKSWAGEN GOLF models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 111 recorded sales of the 2019 VOLKSWAGEN GOLF with front end damage, the median was $4,250, from $3,200 to $7,200. That is 3% below the $4,400 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $5,550 a good price for this 2019 VOLKSWAGEN GOLF?

Accepted Answer

227 comparable 2019 VOLKSWAGEN GOLF listings sold at auction for a median of $4,400, spanning $3,200 to $7,700. At $5,550 this one went 26% above that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

What does a bill of sale mean for this VOLKSWAGEN GOLF?

Accepted Answer

This 2019 VOLKSWAGEN GOLF was sold on a bill of sale. The title type is the auction's own classification and determines what can legally be done with the vehicle afterwards.

Question 4

How far is this VOLKSWAGEN GOLF from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at IAAI in WA - PUYALLUP. The nearest major vehicle export port is Tacoma, roughly 60 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $200-$300, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

Question 5

What does "RUN AND DRIVES" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

RUN AND DRIVES is the auction's own condition note for this 2019 VOLKSWAGEN GOLF. It means the vehicle started and moved under its own power during a brief check at the yard. It is not a mechanical inspection and says nothing about how far it would drive. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

Question 6

Is 50,585 miles high for a 2019 VOLKSWAGEN GOLF?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2019 VOLKSWAGEN GOLF listings at auction averaged 63,423 miles across 227 sales, so at 50,585 miles this one sits 20% below that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.
