Question 1

Was $6,300 a good price for this 2018 VOLKSWAGEN GOLF?

Accepted Answer

147 comparable 2018 VOLKSWAGEN GOLF listings sold at auction for a median of $3,963, spanning $3,150 to $8,200. At $6,300 this one went 59% above that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 2

How far is this VOLKSWAGEN GOLF from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at IAAI in MD - BRANDYWINE. The nearest major vehicle export port is Baltimore, roughly 40 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $200-$300, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

Question 3

Who sold this 2018 VOLKSWAGEN GOLF?

Accepted Answer

The listing seller was STATE FARM INSURANCE. Seller type is a useful signal: insurers typically consign total-loss vehicles, rental and fleet operators consign on a cycle regardless of damage, and dealers consign trade-ins they do not want to retail. Each implies a different history behind the same damage label.

Question 4

Can I buy this 2018 VOLKSWAGEN GOLF from AutoBidCar?

Accepted Answer

No. AutoBidCar is an archive of past auction listings, not a seller — we have never owned this vehicle. This 2018 VOLKSWAGEN GOLF was listed at IAAI as lot 42324416 and any sale happened there. We publish the record so buyers can research what comparable vehicles actually sold for.

Question 5

Did this 2018 VOLKSWAGEN GOLF come with keys?

Accepted Answer

Yes — this lot was listed with keys present, which usually means the vehicle could at least be started or moved at the yard. Combined with left side damage, that tells you more about its condition than the damage label alone.

Question 6

What can I find out from VIN WVWVF7AU9JW246641?

Accepted Answer

WVWVF7AU9JW246641 identifies this specific 2018 VOLKSWAGEN GOLF with a 2l i4 fi dohc 16v nf4 engine, all wheel drive. This page covers its auction history only. For ownership, servicing and reported accidents, run the VIN through Carfax, AutoCheck or NMVTIS — those records are separate from ours and we cannot change them.
