Question 1

What do rear end 2019 VOLKSWAGEN ATLAS models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 214 recorded sales of the 2019 VOLKSWAGEN ATLAS with rear end damage, the median was $5,100, from $3,650 to $7,000. That is 9% above the $4,700 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

How far is this VOLKSWAGEN ATLAS from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at COPART in IL - CAHOKIA HEIGHTS. The nearest major vehicle export port is Baltimore, roughly 700 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $450-$675, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

Question 3

What does "RUN AND DRIVES" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

RUN AND DRIVES is the auction's own condition note for this 2019 VOLKSWAGEN ATLAS. It means the vehicle started and moved under its own power during a brief check at the yard. It is not a mechanical inspection and says nothing about how far it would drive. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

Question 4

Is 59,057 miles high for a 2019 VOLKSWAGEN ATLAS?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2019 VOLKSWAGEN ATLAS listings at auction averaged 94,252 miles across 1606 sales, so at 59,057 miles this one sits 37% below that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 5

Did this 2019 VOLKSWAGEN ATLAS come with keys?

Accepted Answer

Yes — this lot was listed with keys present, which usually means the vehicle could at least be started or moved at the yard. Combined with rear end damage, that tells you more about its condition than the damage label alone.

Question 6

Can I buy this 2019 VOLKSWAGEN ATLAS from AutoBidCar?

Accepted Answer

No. AutoBidCar is an archive of past auction listings, not a seller — we have never owned this vehicle. This 2019 VOLKSWAGEN ATLAS was listed at COPART as lot 68597466 and any sale happened there. We publish the record so buyers can research what comparable vehicles actually sold for.
