Question 1

What do front end 2019 VOLKSWAGEN ATLAS models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 600 recorded sales of the 2019 VOLKSWAGEN ATLAS with front end damage, the median was $4,188, from $3,200 to $6,100. That is 10% below the $4,650 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

What does a salvage title mean for this VOLKSWAGEN ATLAS?

Accepted Answer

This 2019 VOLKSWAGEN ATLAS was sold on a salvage title. A salvage title means an insurer declared the vehicle a total loss. Repairing it and passing a state inspection can convert it to a rebuilt title, which stays on the record permanently and affects resale value.

Question 3

How far is this VOLKSWAGEN ATLAS from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at COPART in KY - EARLINGTON. The nearest major vehicle export port is Savannah, roughly 500 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $425-$600, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

Question 4

What does "ENGINE STARTS" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

ENGINE STARTS is the auction's own condition note for this 2019 VOLKSWAGEN ATLAS. It is a short status flag applied by the auction, not the result of a mechanical inspection. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

Question 5

Is 118,675 miles high for a 2019 VOLKSWAGEN ATLAS?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2019 VOLKSWAGEN ATLAS listings at auction averaged 94,586 miles across 1635 sales, so at 118,675 miles this one sits 25% above that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 6

Did this 2019 VOLKSWAGEN ATLAS come with keys?

Accepted Answer

Yes — this lot was listed with keys present, which usually means the vehicle could at least be started or moved at the yard. Combined with front end damage, that tells you more about its condition than the damage label alone.
